We don't even know who we are until Christ shows us to ourselves... And still we spend so much time and energy asserting a self that we don't even know.

Shortly after reading this post, I heard the song "In The Sun" written by Joseph Arthur. I couldn't help but notice some synchronicity. Some selected lyrics: "I know I would apologize/ if I could see your eyes/ cause when you showed me myself/ I became someone else" "Cause if I find/ If I find my own way/ How much will I I find" "Will you help me to understand/ cause I've been caught in between all I wish for and all I need"
This is the altar at my new parish, which, you might notice requires the priest (that's me) to face liturgical East. That's right. No more cooking show Masses...
